How we set our prices

​

There are many factors to consider when setting prices, not least of which is fairly compensating our passionate team of Support Workers for the work they do. We always pay our staff above Award wages and most importantly, the majority of every dollar billed goes directly to the Support Worker.

Further, we need to cover indirect staff costs, like workers’ compensation insurance, employee training and mentoring, superannuation and allowances, employee assistance/counselling services.

Of course there are other business expenses to cover as well, like payroll tax, insurances, technology, marketing and general running costs.

AND once we’ve got through all those numbers, we ensure we keep our rates in line with or under the NDIS price limits!

NOTE: ALL RATES SHOWN ARE EXCLUSIVE OF GST

*Evening rates are charged for the entire shift when a shift finishes after 8:00pm as per SCHADS industry award

Bookings

  • All bookings/shifts are a minimum 2 hours (2 consecutive hours).

  • If you need overnight support or extended periods of continuous support, please contact us to discuss a customised quote. 

Expenses

Clients are responsible for any expenses incurred by staff on shift (e.g. entry fees for staff and participant, food items for participant, tolls, parking, incidentals). Budgets should be agreed with the Support Worker prior to expenses being incurred. Further details can be found here about Managing Additional Expenses.

Client cancellations

Cancellation within 24 hours of the commencement of an agreed scheduled service will incur full fees. For example, if an agreed booking is 3.5 hours and you cancel or reduce the booking within 24 hours of it starting, you will be charged 3.5 hours.

Vehicle use

$1.00 per km is charged when a Support Worker uses their vehicle on shift (we don’t charge for travel time to or from your usual booking location however travel time and km’s can be charged for bookings that require the Support Worker to attend a different location for their shift.
